Q.  What is Quasar Elite?

A.  Quasar Elite is a game of wits and cunning in which you must do what you can to tag your opponents with your laser.  Players wear a specially designed red or blue team vest and enter a purpose built arena.  With objects to hide behind, smoke to disappear into and player's lasers to dodge, it will get your heart racing and guarantee you a great time whether you are a first time player or a regular player.

Q.  Do you play in teams?

A.  Yes and no!.   The main game that is played most regularly is called energise, where each player has a set number of lives.  Every time a player is tagged, a life is lost.   When they have lost all their lives, they must return to their team energiser to replenish their lives. The emphasis in this game is teamwork, working alongside the rest of your team to achieve the most team points.  For the more experienced players you can pit your wits against everybody else i.e playing solo.

Q.  Does it hurt when I get shot?

A.  No it doesn't hurt. When you are shot the vest will vibrate and the gun will tell you that you've been hit. If you still have lives left you will be able to continue the game after a few seconds. If you have used up all your lives you will be asked to reload your pack at the energiser.

Q. Are there any age restriction?

A. The minimum age is 6 years but no upper age limit at all.

Q.   How long is a game?

A.  Each game is 50 minutes long.  This includes time for having a briefing on how to play the game, time for getting the equipment on & off and 30 minutes playing time in the arena.

Q.  Do I need to book?

A.  Strictly speaking NO but, we always advise that you book before you come to our site, so that your place in the game is reserved as we can get very busy (especially at weekends).

Q.  Is it safe?

A.  Yes - Quasar is a non contact, physical activity, and we take several precautions to make sure everyone has a great time without getting hurt:

1.  Before you play everyone has to listen to a detailed briefing which explains how to play, but more importantly we tell you the safety rules:- NO RUNNING, NO PHYSICAL CONTACT, NO CLIMBING ON OBSTACLES & NO CRAWLING.

2.  We marshal each game to help make sure everyone plays by the rules.

Quasar Elite involves an amount of physical activity.  Any player with a condition which may effect the player's safety whilst at our premises MUST report this to Quasar Elite staff at time of booking.  If you are unsure if the condition would effect the players ability to play, please call us in advance to discuss it.
